Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get to Sabai Sabai?

We are located in Split, Bijankinijeva 10. It is 200 meters from the famous Bačvice beach and less than minutes by foot from the old town, from bus/railway stations and from the ferry port. If you are coming by public transport, get off either at Pazar bus stop or at Zvonimirova bus stop or at Pojišan bus stop and walk for a few minutes.

How do I make a booking?

You can either book an appointment online by clicking here or text us (SMS, WhatsApp, Viber) or call us on +38598408497.

What if I want to change a service that I booked?

No problem. When you come for your appointment just tell us the service you want. Any service can be changed except the Four Hands Massage and the Face Beauty Massage. Also the duration of the massage can not be changed.

How do I request the therapist I want to see?

First, you need to request your therapist by name. When booking online, there is an option to add information about your booking; you can request a therapist there. Booking a therapist by name means they cannot follow our usual 'rotation system'. So if you are late or do not show up for a request booking, your therapist may choose not to accept future request bookings from you. Thank you for understanding!

How should I prepare for my massage treatment?

Nothing special, but try to avoid alcohol for 24 hours before, and avoid eating a big meal on the day of your massage.

Is Sabai Sabai wheelchair accessible?

Yes, we are on the ground floor.

If you have any specific requirements or restrictions please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Will I need to provide my medical history?

If you are a first-time visitor to Sabai Sabai, you will be asked to complete a short consultation form covering medical history. This is for your safety, and to allow us to best tailor your treatment to your needs.

If I am pregnant is it safe to have a massage?

We are sorry to say we cannot provide pregnancy massage. If you are in your first trimester it is NOT recommended to have a body massage at all. If you would like to look for a massage elsewhere (in your 2nd or 3rd trimesters) then we recommend you consult your GP first, and then find specialists in pregnancy massage.

Can I shower at Sabai Sabai?

Your therapist will remove any oil with warm towels at the end of your treatment so don't worry about oily skin!

What is the dress code when receiving a body massage?

Most of the treatments we provide require application of oil. This can be aromatic or odour-less (your choice). You should remove clothing to a level with which you are comfortable. You are encouraged to leave your underwear on, and if you are concerned about getting oil on your underwear we can provide a disposable pair (fashionable they are not – but they do the job!). In any case, you’ll be covered at all times with a towel from upper thigh to waist.

Do I have to undress in front of my therapist?

No. Your therapist will show you to your treatment room and then leave you in private to undress.

What is your cancellation policy?

When you make a reservation, we make sure that a room is prepared and a therapist is available. If you do need to cancel your appointment, please let us know as soon as you can. If you paid a deposit, then provided that you make sure we get at least 24 hours’ notice of a cancellation or rescheduling then we will refund your deposit (and we like to think we are reasonable in other circumstances!).

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes, gift vouchers are available to purchase both in-store and online. Also, you can always make online bookings in someone else's name!

Am I supposed to tip the therapist?

It is completely up to you! If you do, you can be assured that your therapist(s) will keep 100% of the tip. Please note that tips must be paid in cash; our therapists can't use the card machine to accept gratuities. Thank you!

Do you offer sexual services?

Absolutely not. Our services are entirely therapeutic and non-sexual. We will not tolerate sexual requests or inappropriate harassment of our staff.
